GLIMPSE is a magazine that explores curated trends and the tension between what we want to reveal and what we want to hide. Inspired by the metaphor of a padlock, the magazine investigates the human desire to peek into others’ private spaces—whether it’s a bag, a playlist, or a photo album.
Issue 1 unpacks the What’s in My Bag trend, revealing how even personal items are carefully chosen to craft a public image for a trend. In a world where everything is selectively shown, GLIMPSE captures the moments in between—what's kept, what's exposed, and what that says about us.






Issue 1 looks at the What’s in My Bag trend. Though a bag is deeply personal, content that reveals its inside has become a lasting trend. What’s shown is often carefully curated, sometimes even sponsored, blending self-presentation, consumption, and curiosity.


Issue 2 focuses on playlists. Every year, people share their Spotify Wrapped as if it defines them—but a viral image of someone photoshopping their Wrapped reveals how performative that can be. Playlists now live between personal emotion and public image.


Issue 3 turns to photo albums. We take countless photos but share only a few. Some feel too personal to post; others are overly polished, acting as visual self-portraits. Instagram feeds have become curated galleries where memory and identity are selectively shaped.
